We enjoyed our stay. The staff was fabulous & friendly especially at the ground level(bar staff and restaurant). we had such a good time we would recommend our friends and family for the budget prices BUT DEFINATLey we would suggest even though the house keeping duties were well and monitored, it would be nice if the rooms were hoovered/ vacuumed every day as there was so much evidence of lint and dirt in the rooms. Also the iron could be updated a bit. Other wise all was well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A good hotel in the heart of the city. Clean, safe and secure. good for families and the budget traveller. Friendly staff.

The hotel is very centrally located and suits those who wish to shop, dine or do business in the city.
Reception staff had been most courteous and helpful.
Room size is adequate, provided you book the one that suits your needs.
Rooms are clean and adequately maintained.
On two separate stays in the same week, the refrigerator in my room [#604] was not cold at all - housekeeping should check and report to maintenance.
Staff at the bar/restaurant had been very courteous and provided quality service.
What puzzled me was the hotel's local phone charges which was listed as A$0.85 per call from the room. I made four 1-minute local calls to local mobile handphone numbers and was charged almost A$20 for these calls! Reception staff told me this was the rate for calls to mobile numbers. Is this correct?
Overall, a hotel offering good value for the budget conscious traveller. Tony/Singapore

hotel was very welcoming and staff friendly and helpful. Rooms where of a good size and the beds were comfortable, however the carpets were very dirty and in the two weeks i stayed there they were not cleaned once. in addition it was clear that all housekeeping would do was male the beds, as everything within the room was covered in dust by the time i left. the lifts broke down a number of times during the two weeks
