no-frills downtown perth hotel with a great breakfast
room walls are thin, so be prepared to overhear next door's chit chat. awesome breakfast. on the whole, slightly expensive but, oh well, you're in downtown perth after all.

Centrally situated, it is a good place to stay - only minutes from the main shopping centre.
Service was good and members of staff very helpful.
Food of a very high standard - the restaurant was fully booked during my stay there - so it is better to make reservations for evening meals.

Overall the hotel is ok and it is quite convenient. We can access to the train station and shopping mall within walking distance. However, what disappoint me was the way the hotel personnel handled the problem which we encountered.
We booked 3 rooms but there was water leakage in the air-con for one of the rooms.The air-con was spoilt and we reported the problem to the hotel staff.We were given a change of room, but to a smaller one as all rooms were fully booked. We were told by the hotel staff that we can return to the same old room once the air-con is repaired. But according to the maintenance man, the air-con can no longer be repaired.

Arrived tired and hungry and was greeted with a smiling face. Asked about airport pickup and the desk clerk noted down my requiremnts and passed them on to the relevant clerk to book my transport. Excellent room and nice location. Breakfast the next morning was unsurpassable. I thouroughly enjoyed all of it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. My transport was there for me the next day. AAA+++

Nice place to stay in, clean and well maintained. Carrying heavy luggages up the flights of staircase was difficult, not suitable for seniors. Was they a lift???

The room itself was not very large and had two windows facing a wall (even though I specifically requested windows facing the street - maybe there were none available), so not much natural light, but this is my only "not so good" comment about this hotel.
As for the rest, the bathroom was good, nice shower, clean and cozy. Excelent location, really central, near the train station and main shopping streets. The hotel provides wireless internet to the rooms at a good price but has also computers with internet connection in common areas (the price is not so good, but can be useful).
The breakfast is included in the price of the room and it is absolutelly fantastic, lots of choice, for all types of customers, young, senior, children, vegetarians - for me personally, the best breaksfast I ever had in one hotel (actually I would say that it is worth to just go there for breakfast, even if you stay somewhere else; or at least check the bakery right next door). And for customers who have to check out very early in the morning they offer to pack a take-away version of the breakfast, including juice, fruit, croissants, not the same, but very nice as well. Very nice and helpfull staff.
