Worth the money
Yes, the hotel is situated in a red light area, yes it is basic - but it was clean, and the staff were helpful, also the showers were hot and well pressurised whatever time of the day or night - and it's cheap!
We stayed for two nights, and it was our first time in Singapore - we left wishing we had scheduled more time - very happy!
By the way, we didn't see any obvious signs of vice around the hotel, and the location was just a short walk from the train station, with bus links even nearer. If you don't need five star accommodation, then I recommend this place.
