This is backpacker quality = there was a fan, toilet, shower, sink and hot water and the beds were comfortable and the double room small though clean, but otherwise the accommodation was quite basic = don't expect a lift, a working cooker or fridge. You will be better off going to the laundrette round the corner if you want to get clothes washed. However it is very central in Kings Cross district and was relatively quiet even at Mardi Grass.
