The concept of the motel is good,...
The concept of the motel is good, however the shopping centre and facilities built into the motel complex are non existant or poor and run down. The advertising for this motel makes it look a far better venue than it actualy is. We also had concerns for our security as the rooms opened onto the run down shopping 'complex' with no barrier between the door to your room and public areas. On speaking with a local businessman we were advised that this establishment had changed hands several times since it opened and seems to continually move in a negitive direction
The motel room is as good as...
The motel room is as good as an ordinary 3 star hotel. The receptionists are both helpful and nice. The bus to town is convenient but walking may not be suitable for families and seniors, especially to the Salamanca Market. Overall the place is convenient in terms of food and supermarket.

Hotel has a very friendly, helpful staff. All rooms are accessible via ramps or stairs. The hotel has a car park (garage) attached right to the hotel with free parking. Several restaurants are within a 2 minute walk.
The rooms are unusually large with lots of space. The building is secure from 7PM to 8 AM everyday with entry only by key.
Front desk is closed overnight, but all rooms have direct dial phones, cable TV with pay per view; TV with video hookup and wireless internet was free.
This hotel would be a **+ to ***, but lacks a 24 hour front desk and does not have a restaurant directly inside the hotel, but again, many within 2 minutes.
If you are in Hobart to be a tourist, this hotel is for you.

We had a wonderful stay here. We can not speak too highly of the facility, staff,, service etc. In fact we were very spoilt and found it hard when motels further on did not match up to this motel.

Room has view of inside of a shopping mall. Not a place to stay if you are looking for a romantic adventure. However, the room is clean with all the necessary facilities. I will recommend it if you are looking for a value.
