NOT A VERY PLEASANT STAY THOUGH THE HOTEL WAS OK EMPLOYEES WERE HELPFUL BUT THERE WAS A CERTAIN SPARK MISSING WHICH HELD ME BACK FROM ENJOYING MY STAY ANYWAYS THE PLACE HAD A PLEASANT LOCATION GOOD FOR PEOPLE WITH LOADS OF TIME LIKE ONES ON HONEYMOON OR SOMETHING. HAPPY BUT NOT SATISFIED

Old facilities and location too far from main street

The hotel staff and the service provided was very good and the meals served was to a high standard and good value for money. The room was very good but the bathroom and in particular the bath itself had rust around the drain plug. When looking for accomodation we chose this hotel based on location to train station, town ctr accessability and it looked to be perfect, however the problem was that it was on top of a very steep hill and walking to the centre of town was only about 15min stroll through the park but to get back it really was a big problem as i have walking difficulties and as the centre of Brisbane is in the middle of a major reconstuction and is a building site finding a taxi rank was impossible. Because of my walking problems and condition of the bath i would not return to this hotel

We enjoy the parkland walk into the city, the small bars and cafes close by, the restaurant by the pool and the service at the bar. Oh, and the breakfast is great value.

We are giving a 5* to the staffs. The poeple at reception were really helpfull at checkin, checkout as well as during our stay. They have provided us with a map of brisbane, have given us a lot of idea for place to see and restaurant to try.
The room was BIG with two king size beds and the mattress was just perfect. I was a bit disappointed at the bathroom as it was a bit old comparing to the room. Looks like the bathrooms wasn't refurbish but it didn't matter as it was clean.
The location of the hotel is quite good, a good 10 minutes walk into town downhill and nearby the parc. The breakfast was good, too

Good hotel and services, friendly staff and a good location near the park. The dinning room looked in need of renovating, but the hotel did have sign saying the hotel was being renovated at present.
