We stayed here for a week when...
We stayed here for a week when we went to the Grand Prix, beautiful location to stay, so close to the beach and the tram is just 20 seconds across the road!! Takes 5 minutes on tram to get to Albert Park so ideal for us to use. St.Kilda is a lively place in the evenings with lots of bars and eating houses to pick from - a delight to stay here.

Overall, the room was a good value,...
Overall, the room was a good value, but a little small. The TV was mounted flat to the wall, such that it was a bit difficult to see at an angle across the room. Location was perfect, however, very close to the esplanade, shopping and dining.

Room was very noisy, think it was the constant hum of the air conditioning on the roof. No bench available to put luggage on, had to leave it on floor.

Great location next across from the beach...
Great location next across from the beach and a minute from the tram stop. Only 5 minute walk Fitzroy Street. We were given a good size room with lounge area. We didn't use the pool or gym but both looked good.

Novotel St. Kilda is a very nice...
Novotel St. Kilda is a very nice hotel, nice scenery esp this is located exact at the St. Kilda beach, if you can get up early and and if your room have beach view, this is even more more nice, both sunset and dawn is really nice :) people like taking photos won't miss this chance, along beach area has a lot of bars which is more suitable for those guys like to drink :p although is a bit far fm city, there has tram which can take you to city but just need abt 20mins, if take taxi to city, even cost abt AUS20, overall rating is good !

The location and views were superb. ...
The location and views were superb. We loved St Kilda and the pier and penguins and the local shops. The staff were very pleasant and the room was quite adequate.

Good value for money and good location....
Good value for money and good location. Extremely appreciated the help from the friendly staff. I booked a seaview room without checking the number of beds that they offered assuming they will have two twin beds. However, the full seaview room only have Queen sized bed. I checked in very late at night and I was shocked and stood there like a post. The lady and the duty manager did all their best to check all possibilities. Even though it was all my fault in giving the incorrect information to cause this inconvenience, the staff were so friendly and helpful to accommodate our needs. Though at the end we have a partial view of the beach, our party was very happy ! You can drive or take a walk to Acland Street for breakfast or dinner. The St. Kilda bath across the road is another alternative for the closed swimming pool. Strongly recommended.
