For sheer indulgence, Thorngrove makes for a great escape with a touch of mediaeval mystery. You can choose from Manor suites (with continental breakfast) or cheaper, self-catering options. The showpiece Kings Chambers three-roomed suite comes complete with stained glass windows and a Hapsburg piano!
