Great location, good overall feel
I enjoyed the stay and the staff were great. Pool and fitness centre were closed for renovation, which we were not told about at booking or check-in. Requested early check in but not available, and could not take a shower because of renovation, which after an early morning arrival on a very hot day would have done wonders for general sense of welcome. Breakfast too pricey, so ate out. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, quiet and calm general feel, interesting heritage section. I would stay here again, but it would have been better if the hotel threw in something to compensate lack of pool and fitness centre, like free wi fi, breakfast, or something.
