A lovely upmarket hotel. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Concierge and reception staff very courteous and helpful. However, I found the service in the bar to be very slow. The breakfast room was small and cramped (we had to wait in the adjoining bar for about 15 minutes before a table became free). The breakfast service was ad hoc and the food at the buffet was cold and more limited in range than I have experienced at many other, less expensive, hotels. Somewhat living on its reputation - much better value available at other, less expensive, hotels.
