The Hotel Haidenhof is located on a hill at the city outskirts of Lienz, 250 metres away from the cable car station “Zetterfeldbahn”.

Enjoy the silence at and around the hotel as well as the sensational view towards the Dolomites of Lienz! It takes you only a couple of minutes to reach the golf course (Dolomitengolf Osttirol), to enjoy relaxing hiking tours, e.g.

on the Großglockner or exciting and challenging mountainbike trips within the national park “Hohe Tauern”

Car:
From Germany (Munich): E 54 until Kiefersfelden/Kufstein – second exit after national border (Kufstein Süd) – there is no road toll needed! From Kufstein follow the signs towards „Felbertauernstrasse“ (also accessible in winter) – via the Felbertauernstrasse to Lienz – From there follow the signs to the Hotel Haidenhof!

From Vienna, Linz: A1 until Salzburg – B312/311 Bad Reichenhall/Lofer/Zell am See – B 168 to Mittersill – via the Felbertauernstrasse to East Tyrol – Lienz or A1/A10 until exit Bischofshofen (follow signs towards „Felbertauernstrasse“) – B311 until Zell am See – B168 to Mittersill – via the Felbertauernstrasse to Lienz – Ffrom there ollow the signs to the Hotel Haidenhof!

From Italy: Triest – Udine – Tolmezzo – via the Plöckenpass to Kötschach – Oberdrauburg – Lienz – From there follow the signs to the Hotel Haidenhof!

Train:
All Intercity-trains, fast- and regional trains stop at Lienz.

Via Bolzano: - Brixen - Sillian - Lienz; Via Spittal: to Lienz - Sillian; Via Kitzbühel: go on with bus to Matrei - Lienz; You can find taxis right in front of the train station Lienz!
