WESTAUTOBAHN A1.
Coming from the A1 motorway you have to follow the signs leading to "Zentrum".
You pass Schönbrunn castle and keep following the signs leading to "Zentrum" until you reach the Gürtel (big crossing with two lane road).
Turn left (Margaretengürtel) as if going towards the Westbahnhof.
Follow this street, passing Westbahnhof, as far as Josefstädter Straße.
Turn right into Josefstädter Straße.
Follow this street until you see a "SPAR" supermarket on the right-hand side then turn right again.
The first street on the left is Josefsgasse and the Hotel Mercure Josefshof is behind the English Theatre.
SÜDAUTOBAHN A2
Coming from the A2 motorway just keep going until you reach the A23, then follow the A23 until the Zentrum exit.
Leave there and move straight on along the Danube canal.
Turn left at the fifth set of traffic lights and this brings you into Türkenstraße which later becomes Hörlgasse.
Keep straight on past the Votivkirche on the right-hand side and the road name becomes Reichsratstraße.
At the end you have to turn right into Felderstraße.
At the traffic light keep straight on (slanting right).
At the next traffic light turn left into Lange Gasse.
Move on, cross Josefstädter Straße, then the first left is Josefsgasse.
The Hotel Mercure Josefshof is just behind the English Theatre.
AIRPORT VIENNA SCHWECHAT
Coming from the airport and down the motorway you have to follow the signs leading to "Zentrum".
In the city area of Vienna drive just keep straight along the Danube canal.
