Hotel Polaris, opened on 18 July 2009, is a charming and stylish design hotel in the heart of Ostend. It is housed in a mansion built in 1902 and has since 2005 been protected as a monument. The eclectic style façade still reflects the charm of yesteryear. The interior has been entirely redecorated using mainly black and white colours. The reflection of this warm and pleasant atmosphere can be experienced in the rooms, the restaurant as well as in the cosy lounge bar, where you can enjoy an evening drink. This is a non-smoking hotel with 18 rooms spread over 3 floors, which guarantees an intimate and quiet atmosphere. The modern rooms are functional and offer views either over the Groentemarkt or peace and quiet at the back. If you really want to experience the good life, we suggest you opt for a deluxe room with bubble bath. The trendy restaurant is all about culinary enjoyment. It offers a modern restaurant concept called “Walking Grill”, where, in an informal atmosphere, you can fully enjoy your meals buffet style.
