Very nice room, good size, and early check in was possible. Staff were pleasant and the hotel was nice and peaceful and quiet. Perfect for a sleep between flights.

Very misleading pictures of Orchid Garden. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, VERY unfortunate looking surroundings, and the rooms are ordinary. Very overpriced, and the nicest part of the hotel is the lobby.

( not a lot of communication from the driver with regards to what minibus to catch ) missed hotel bus to city so had to walk about 1.5 km to bus stop to catch local bus and if you don't bring your own alcohol forget about having a drink

Room was excellent - clean and very large - bed was huge! Free pick-up and drop off to the airport was great - taxis are expensive in Brunei. Service and breakfast were very good. Great place to stay if you are having a quick stop over in Brunei.

We chose the Orchid Hotel because of its convenient location near the airport - it was 5 minutes away! The hotel was more than we expected and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They have a free shittle to and from the airport whenever your flight is as well as a free shuttle to the shopping centre. We would recommend this hotel whether you are in transit or staying for a few days.

I have stayed here on three separate...
I have stayed here on three separate times during October 2006. Twice in a standard room and once in a deluxe room, I did not find any real difference between the rooms although the deluxe room was on a lower level and was more expensive. The standard rooms were basic but needs to have some maintenance to be carried out i.e. loose door handles on wardrobes and the showers and plumbing need upgrading.
The breakfasts that were offered provided lots of choices but I found that the food was either lukewarm or cold, on one time I had to ask for the selection to be heated by microwave. One plus point however is that the staff were courteous, helpful and put themselves out to please me.
