Overall the stay was good but not brilliant considering the price of the rooms and the reputation of the Raffles group. Lots of silly niggling things let it down ie. flaking paint on the ceiling and grubby sofa with huge stain and dirty arms in our bedroom, food at breakfast being allowed to completely run out and having to wait ages while chef had to cook more - basically poor management although here was an army of staff. Pool-side waiters not writing things down and bringing incorrect orders. perhaps I expect too much, but I've had better stays at other hotel chains for a lot less expense.
