Great location. Pretty decent food. We had to pay for email...lame. A bit overpriced for this country, but a clean, safe, and very nice hotel. We were pleased. The workout room was the best part! Very nice.

Grand confort pour un budget relativement raisonnable. Situation à proximité des quais et du Palais Royal. Grande piscine agréable. Style un peu impersonnel et manque de charme.

After being spoilt by our stay at the Prince D Angkor in Siem Reap, this was not as good. The service let them down. Location is good. I was disappointed by having a bottom floor room overlooking the carpark but I should have asked for a river view room. Huge room and well laid out.

Wow! The largest hotel space I've ever stayed in (two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, three balconies and an enormous living/dining area - and that's just the "standard room"). The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, the service was excellent and the apartment was spotless. We were within easy walking distance of the Palace, Museum and restaurant area. If we wanted to go farther afield, taxis and tuk tuks were easily obtainable at all times. Overall, excellent value for money.

I had a two room suite which was perfect for my family. We thought the resteraunt was a little undersized for the amount of people that were staying there, but I guess that is to be expected in an apartment hotel. The breakfast was not what I expected from this class of hotel, I expected much better food than we received, the egg bar was ok but the buffet portion was left wanting.

At night I came back and the entire hotel staff was asleep with pillows at their desk…and I had to almost crawl to my room because there were soo many flies around the lights in the halls. The lay out of the pool and the river were quite bazaar and unattractive. People rated this hotel 5-star and thus the reason I stayed and paid the extra money. Stay next door at the Cambodia for a fraction of the cost! Or some quaint guesthouse closer to restaurants on the river/ Royal Palace.

We enjoyed our stay at the Himawari Hotel in Phnom Penh. The location is excellent. Rather than just being a normal hotel room, the accommodation provided at the Himawari is more like a small apartment. Each unit has its own a small kitchen, with a cooker, refrigerator, pots, pans, etc, etc. There is an excellent, large, Western-style supermarket across the road, where food can be bought. So if you don't want to eat out for lunch and dinner every day, then you can easily cook your own meals. A good buffet breakfast is provided in the morning in the hotel restaurant but this can get rather busy. We found lunch and dinner in the restaurant disappointing, and the bar is small. So we just went next door to the Cambodiana luxury hotel, where we were made very welcome. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.

This is not the newest hotel, but clean & has all facilities. I appreciate the Gym & the Pool. Good Breakfast buffet & perfect coffee!
