This hotel was overpriced compared to what was available in the area. It also lacked a lift, which could be a problem when heaving suitcases up stairs.

The hotel is beautifully furnished, with lovely decor throughout the public areas and the bedrooms; the rooms are very comfortable with good satellite tv channel range too. However, the top floor 'Garden Suite' is poor value. The air-con is too weak to cope with the size of the room, and being an attic, it is very dark with little natural light coming in through the small window. The plumbing and hot water are serious problems. Due to blocked drains, and scaldingly hot water making the shower positively dangerous to use we were moved to another beautiful suite where the hot water didn't work at all, although they had had all day to ensure the room would be fit for use. The maintenance guy couldn't fix it, and the tank leaked ceaslessly through the ceiling. A scorch mark developed in the wooden ceiling, encouraging concern that a fire might break out at any moment. Renovations behind the dining room wall made it rather noisy at breakfast. Although the staff were all very nice, very friendly and efficient, I didn't like their policy of demanding full payment for the 2 nights upon arrival. It was as if they knew in advance that there were going to be problems and complaints. Overall, a lovely hotel, but the experience was marred, and value lost, by the small details not being right.

We thought this hotel was really good value, it is right on the river front and our room had a balcony that was worth paying the extra to have. The rooms are very modern and clean with all the expected facilities. The hotel is very close to the main attractions, 5 minute walk to the palace etc. The waiting staff in the restaurant were not the friendliest people but they were efficient. We would use this hotel again. The hotel did not appear to have our booking, however they did have spare rooms and we were given a choice. If it had been at a busy time this would probably have been a problem for us. Plenty taxi's and tuks outside the hotel that will take you all over the city for a reasonable price, but negotiate a price before getting in.

Good location ok breakfast and helpfull staff.Lay out of the suite I stayed in is not very good with the bedroom being enclosed like a box.Would opt for normal room next time.No lift could be difficult for elderly persons if given a room on a higher floor.

This hotel was very over priced for what it offered. It a clean, fairly decent sized room but that is about it. Some of the welcoming staff were a little too pushy. The breakfast was aweful. The location was good but we left after the first night and preferred a budget $5 hotel that made us feel welcome and was much livlier.

Fantastic Hotel. Upgraded to a Suite, which was wonderful. On the down side, building work being carried out and the noise started from 5 a.m. until 8.am. Check first before booking, but if work finished, which it probably is now, would definately recommend it. Manager very accommodating. Of the other 3 we stayed in, this was far superior.

Good location. Reception staff very friendly. Staff in restaurant during breakfast not very friendly or helpful. The hotel was busy with construction work which started at 7:00 in the morning and was very disturbing.

This hotel is very good value. The rooms are new and spotlessly clean. Security is good. I have stopped staying at the Raffles (and paying 3 times as much) and now stay exclusively at this hotel. It is on the waterfront, so not as secluded and quiet as some other places. Very close to the best restaurants in Phnom Penh.
