My Partner and I stayed at the Villa Langka twice now and both times we enjoyed our stay immensely, so much so that we considered to extent our second stay for a couple of days.
There are a small no. of negative points though.
Try to avoid room no.6 at the back of the building right by the staff rooms where they meet at 7am and are very noisy. or though the Room is nice and large the aircondition unit stuggles.
On our second stay we had room no.3 by the pool which was much nicer.
Speaking of the pool, what a treat. A tropical oasis in the hussle and bussle of Phnom Penh.
The french owner provide a light continental breakfast with deliciouse warm french bread, croissants, bacon and homemade jams. Avoid the "srambled eggs" but the fresh fruit is delicious.

Villa Langka i stayed at recently offered the best value for money in a long time.
The hotel was a chique old colonail stye building with a very reaxing and welcoming ambiance.
The food was of very good quality and the staff and owner of hotel were all very warm friendly helpful people.
The rooms are fair size and decorated in old late 30-40 style which was very pleasing to the eye.
It had wirless avaialble throughout the hotel as is only 5-10 minutes from all the main attractions in the city, overall a very good experience and i recommend this small hotel to any one traveling in this area

An attractive, small, bright, friendly hotel. Possibly an old French colonial house, with high-walled grounds. Good sized room and bathroom. Minimalist style with plain white walls & bedding etc. Very clean & comfortable. Effective air/con and satellite TV. My room had no window to the outside, which I would have liked, but it did have a window looking into a bright & planted interior area of the hotel. Villa Langka do have some rooms with balcony overlooking the pool. There is a reasonable sized swimming pool, with a beautifully planted, peaceful relaxation area around it. The breakfast was filling and delicious with plenty of good coffee. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Free Internet in reception. Villa Lanka is located in a quiet business area a short walk away from the Independence Monument in a street parallel to Sihanouk Boulevard. There are some good restaurants nearby but not a lot going on around here in the evening. However there are always tuk-tuks waiting outside to take you to the more lively places in town. If you want a clean, friendly and quiet hotel, away from the bustle this could be it!
