Stayed at Hang Neak in March for a few days. The hotel is slightly out of the centre so i ended up getting taxis to the areas i wanted to see but it was very easy and cheap.
For the price, the room i was given was huge. I had booked a single standard room, but had a room with a big double bed and lovely clean bathroom, as well as a good tv and mini-bar. The whole hotel gave the impression of being recently built.
There is a rooftop terrace which serves breakfast, evening meals (although choice is very limited) and a variety of drinks. Whilst i was there, they had builders in to create a restaurant on the other side of the rooftop.
The staff truly couldn't do enough to help. I was planning on getting the ferry up to Siem Reap (as the next place on my itinerary) and asked if they knew whether i needed a ticket in advance, on the off-chance they happened to know. Not only did they book the ticket for me and drop me off at the ferry for free, but when it became clear that the ferry was not going to run because there were not enough passengers, the staff member who had delivered me dashed across to the bus terminal to get me the last ticket on the bus for that day. He then got the bus to wait whilst he came back to pick me up and take me to the bus. Very impressive service!
I'd definitely go back.
