Good Hotel
This hotel is great, I found it at Asiarooms.com.. It's close With Tuol Sleng Museum, but it's quite far for nightlife.. but, If you want peace and quite situation, this hotel is perfect!
Staff is friendly, rooms are okay. What I really found irritating was that the description in some parts didn't match the reality. Yes the Hotel has a balcony but not the rooms! The Gym consists of 3 mashines, 2 broken. The location as shown on the Asia Rooms map of Phnom Penh ist totally wrong, the Hotel Macau is located on Rd. 360 about 300 m from Tuol Sleng/

Not the best.
This accommodation is certainly not the best accomm in town. Located away from the main precinct, it takes a 15 minute trip to get to the river and the eateries and pubs. It isnt safe to walk around this area of town at night, we were approached and followed by street people and felt endangered, only later finding out its a dangerous area.
The hotel is very noisy. Most rooms adjoin a lift, therefore the noise is incredible. 9 times out of 10 I don't fuss over these kinds of things, but the noise was so bad that I couldnt sleep. Service at the desk was average. We stayed 1 more night on the water front for the same price in a hotel 10x better and centrally located to everything. My recommendations, stay along the river and not in this area of the city.

good wi fi connection in the room. hooked up on to internet with out any trouble. connection was fast.
simple hotel in quiet part of town.
no massage/ heath centre as shown on web site.
so called gym was pieces of old fitness equipment placed in a corner on the roof level.
reception staff are helpful & polite. they helped me buy my bus ticket to siem reap at the same price as you would get at the bus station. they also remembered that i was taking the morning bus & called me to wake up with out me instructing them. they arranged for the bus company van to pick me up to the bus station. so i appreciate their initiative & care.
