A truly excellent hotel that really feels...
A truly excellent hotel that really feels like you're in Cambodia, and not just in a resort that could be in any hotel in any country.
The location is excellent...just a few blocks...
The location is excellent...just a few blocks out of the main centre and accommodation units are well appointed.
My main concern was the prices in the restaurant for every average food. The menu lacks variety and interest...basic laziness on the chef I think!!!

La Residence was a great place to stay in siem reap. Great location and lovely rooms and pool.

A delightful property where the owners and architects have obviously made a decision to respect Khmer history etc. The pool is huge and a marvellous place to relax after trapsing around temples.
Food and service were excellent, as were the massages: a great idea after a long day out.
Would definitely recommend.

What a nice place! The staff is very attentive and very friendly. "Nam" of the bar staff is particularly wonderful and was a treat to talk with. Everyone was warm and geniuine. The facility is very well kept and the pool is gorgeous. I would stay here again!
As a solo travel, La Residence d'Angkor...
As a solo travel, La Residence d'Angkor was ideal for a peaceful short break with all the luxuries I needed. The staff all spoke English well and, although they did not have a record of my booking when I arrived, they honoured without fuss the electronic receipt I had on my lap top. The room was a cool, peaceful space after a day at the temples. The restaurant food was delicious and served with a smile and the hotel surrounds were expertly landscaped with ponds, waterfalls, statues and tropical foliage plants. Compared to the other massive 5-star hotels on vast grounds with busloads of high end tourists in Seim Reap, the intimate luxury of La Residence d'Angkor suited me perfectly.

Lovely surroundings and a friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful bathrooms and luscious linens and beds. The simple style works well as a complement to the richness of SIem Reap. I would definitely recommend La Residence

Simply beautiful handmade artisan furnishings in both rooms and throughout hotel. Excellent service but awfully expensive even for a honeymoon (dearer than Langham Hilton in London!) and after £100 charge per night they charge for local water...Interesting

Excellent hospitality from staff, rooms are extremely luxurious, especially enjoyed the bathtub. Location is also very convenient. The restaurant is new and serves continental dishes.... would be nice if it also served some local Khmer dishes.
