We stayed at the khemera in march 06. The hotel has a welcoming feel and the right mix of architecture of feeling cambodian without it being "twee" or "faceles" like a big corporate chain. Service was impeccable and prompt when we were there ( does not appear very busy - whether that`ll make a difference in peak period ?) once the request was understood. Rooms were very clean and we felt it was good value for money. Rather impressed with the little unexpected amenities ie: a selection of various magazines and books provided by the towel hut for reading to relax by the pool.
Not too far from Angkor Wat ( which is a historically stunning ) and we thoroughly enjoyed our days there. Thoroughly recommend this hotel and have indeed recommended it to friends who are visiting.
Clean, cozy and nice room. The hospitality and services are very good. Even the souvenir shop stuff is so kind. However, most of the breakfast dishes were cold. Only that point disappointed us.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Great service, lovely room and great facilities including the pool and gym. Would definately stay here again. Good value for money.
Khemara Angkor is an excellent hotel for the price. Helpful staff. Airconditioning is turned off once you remove the key so ask for two keys. Although the lobby has AC, there is no central air in the rest of the hotel. Packed breakfast is rather elementary -- boiled eggs and a cheese sandwich.
There are way too many good hotels in Siem Reap to figure out which one's the best deal. Nevertheless, you'll probably not go wrong with this hotel - great service, nice rooms, clean, good-sized pool... we were very happy with it.
