One of the best hotels we've ever...
One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The service was impeccable, the grounds lovely and the food very, very good. We could only book three people on the AsiaRooms.com website, but the hotel was very accommodating to our family bringing in an extra bed at a reasonable charge when we contacted them directly after making our reservation and requested a quote. The pool looks green because of the tile but is kept very clean and we enjoyed cooling down in it everyday. The breakfast buffet was good as were the dinners that we had while we were there. Their dinner show, Apsara Theater, was terrific. The relaxation massage at the spa was also great. Only complaint is that the A/C could be a little more efficient, especially in the hot months, but it did cool enough to be comfortable at night. Highly recommended!

As Vice President of Sales & Marketing...
As Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a US Corporation, prior to retiring last year, I have traveled to over 65 countries for business and holiday over the past 20 years. This hotel provides the quality and service one would expect from any 5 star resort. I highly recommend it to anyone that plans to visit Siem Reap. The atmosphere, food quality, presentation, cleanliness, room decor, pool, gardens, service, spa, etc was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed only two nights at this resort for the purpose of visiting Angkor Wat. I highly recommend this hotel to couples and families with children or simply the business client that wants a wonderful place to stay during your business trip. Be sure to stay at the Angkor Village Botanical Resort. There are many similar names of resorts and hotels. The value was exceptional.

Nice environment. Nice room although a bit room. Bathroom very nice. Clean both room and bathrooms. Although the living room and the swimming pool need some more cleaning. Happy with the personel except the Spanish guide they hired for us. He did not speak very well and we wasted 50USD. Quite sad.

If you are looking for a peaceful and cosy place to relax after a long day of sightseeing, this is it. Service is very good and friendly, the restaurant is great and the premises give you the feel of a tropical Cambodian village. We had a great time and really enjoyed the atmosphere!

The resort was lovely - rooms were excellent and everything was very well laid out. Staff were extremely helpful....the only thing that was a concern was the pool - we were extremely hesitant about swimming as the water was not circulating - they didn't seem to be running it.

A great hotel with a wonderful tropical...
A great hotel with a wonderful tropical garden. Good restaurant but a bit expensive. Very good taxi and travel services. Good location to visit the temples of Angkor. Only disadvantage while we stayed there was very loud music from "Mekong Nights" across the road, karaoke until late at night. But the hotel is hoping that they will move futher outside.

Our room was stylish, very nicely furnished...
Our room was stylish, very nicely furnished and spotless clean, and had all the trimmings one would expect. It opened out onto a balcony overlooking the pool. It had Satellite TV and one could hire a keyboard to use the TV as a PC (although we used neither of them). There was a small tour desk next to the reception, prices there were roughly the same as you pay on the street (at least in peak season). Reception did also external restaurant bookings for us reliably. Service was generally very friendly and competent. The very picturesque bar served nice and well-mixed drinks for wetting dusty throats after a long day of temple-hopping, and provided excellent and extremely friendly service. The Spa on the hotel grounds delivered expert massages in very pleasant surroundings, and cooling down in the long snake-shaped pool was also very relaxing. Only weak spot is the location: it requires a tuk-tuk ride to almost everywhere. On the other hand, you are already halfway to Angkor, that may give you a headstart in the morning. The hotel's environment is not neccessarily a nice place for an evening stroll. Opposite to the hotel on the other side of the road are a series of 'meet friend' bars, and the music blaring from their speaker systems at night might disturb the romantic atmosphere for more sensitive souls. We would certainly stay there again.
