A nice place to relax!
My partner and I had a three day stay at the end of a very hectic travelling holiday. On arrival we were given drinks and a cold facecloth and were allowed to check into our room at 10.00am after an early morning flight. The hotel is very grand and staff fall over themselves to help out. The rooms are a decent size with a pool view. During the day the hotel is very quiet as everyone is out exploring the many temples surrounding Siem Reap. It was like having our own private pool and hotel staff to look after us all day. The breakfasts are good as our the pool bar snacks but we didn't eat in the restaurant instead we had our own personal tuk-tuk driver to take us Pub Street in Siem Reap, he would then wait for us to bring us back to the hotel!

After travelling throughout Asia for a number of weeks and staying at a number of hotels, we have rated this hotel as the best in Asia.
From arrival until depature, the staff are willing to help with anything. Upon arrival the manager came out to greet us, gave us his card and told us to call him if we needed anything. That is fantastic service!
We dined in the restaurant on the first night, simply the best food we ate for our entire trip. Amazing quality. Breakfast each morning is a giant buffet of anything you could wish for, amazing.
The room overlooked the pool on the 2nd floor, very large, very fresh, once again, everything you need.
The staff are very well trained, and more than willing to assist with any of your needs. Friendly and welcoming, often stopping for a quick chat at breakfast or in the bar, hats off to management for operating such a well run hotel.
Overall, this is a 5 star hotel, very very affordable, too cheap to be honest, we will be returning annually for a visit, it was our best stay during our travels, and we look forward to returning again next year.

THE place to stay in Siem Reap!
We absolutely loved the Empress Angor! From the time we put our feet inside the hotel, we were treated liike royalty. Staff are all amazingly friendly! The restaurant food is excellent and worth staying in for. The hotel offers transport to town (about 2km away) twice a day, free of charge.
I can only highly recommend this hotel!!!!

Good location, near the Angkor complex, on the main road to the city, food was good, helpful front office staff, room was large and well appointed. Overall a good 4 star hotel, yet value for money.

Very nice hotel with good facilities including great pool and surrounds. On the main road between the airport and downtown - a $3 tuk-tuk ride to downtown with plenty available on the main road.

facilites were excellent with gym, sauna, steam room, and amazing pool and restuarant. This hotel looks incredible with beautiful wood furnishings everywhere. Location is a little way out of the town but there isnt much to see in town anyway...and taxis are cheap. The only downfall of this hotel was the shower, the water kept changing from hot to cold. However the room was very spacious and perfect. Cheap cocktails during happy hour was fantastic, and the staff their were brilliant. I recommend this hotel, you will feel like royalty staying there.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. It is set a little bit out of town but that cuts down on the dust that is prevelant in town. I would recommend this hotel.

We came in early and was given our rooms immediately and we requested for an adjoining room for us, it was done fast without any fuss.Breakfast was good, but the same fare everyday gets a bit boring. The shower temperature as predicted was unpredictable. Overall this hotel is good.
