FCC has a perfect pool and quite a nice bar area. The room is stylish although the aircon was very weak.
The service was good except in one area - restaurant/bar staff - which when i was there was consistently lackadaisical - no enthusiasm at all! Food was ok but the staff need either more training or more time off.

My huband and I stayed here with my brother-in-law and his wife (both from England) at the end of November 2006. We had an unforgettable time. The hotel is classy and upmarket without being pretentious. Food was good and reasonably priced. Happy hour (5-7pm) was fantastic and breakfast was delicious - just what we needed to fuel up for a full day of temple-ing. We looked forward to the pool after a long and hot day of sightseeing and browsing the markets. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we return to Siem Reap and we are definitely telling all our friends about it. Go for the pool facing rooms - they are certainly worth paying a little more for.

We found this hotel to be a delight. The service was of a very high standard and exceeded our expectations. The room overlooking the pool was an oasis after the rigours of exploring the temples.

The FCC in Siem Reap was wonderful...
The FCC in Siem Reap was wonderful ! The location, in the center of town on the river and next to the Post Office,was excellent. The staff was great,as were the bar and restaraunt. The (included) breakfast was yummy. Our room was nicely appointed and my wife really enjoyed the FCC's Spa. The pool is cool. Our price on AsiaRooms was also a bargain ! We will gladly stay here on our return to Cambodia, as opposed to the vast amouny of cookie-cutter rooms springing up all over Siem Reap. A great base to retreat to after a hot day in the ruins of Angkor Wat or on the Tonle Sap. I would call it a Boutque Hotel without the pretentiousness of most of them, but with all the advantages !! Highly Reccomended !!!

apparantly the hotel is known by the locals as really popular
the food was fine and we were pleased to find out that they serve breakfast from 4:00 am in your room without extra charge
like everywhere in asia they speak very poor english
we will certainly recommend it to other people, the atmosphere was terrific

Fantastic hotel, beautifully designed modern aesthetic set around a serene landscaped courtyard with pool. service was very professional and efficient. Great location with easy access to the city activities and easy access to the angkor temples. everything is designed around the guest experience.
