I chose this guest for the pool, and it was gorgeous.
when I arrived I was given a really nice room at the front of the guesthouse, with a huge bathroom, however when I asked about wifi I was told I would need to get a room in the older building at the back. the room was less than half the size and the bathroom was quite small, it was unavoidable to get the toilet wet when showering (keep the toilet paper stored high out of range).
the room was well air-conditioned with both aircon and a fan. staff were friendly and helpful.
Beware which tuk tuk drivers you use, there is one great guy, very gentle will take you where you want to go, and then another who will just take you without asking what you want at all!

Perfect place to stay when you want the convenience of being near the city center but don't want the noise of it. Nice and helpful staff. When Ankor Wat is on your "must see list" this is the place to stay.

Excellent facilities at this value hotel, including a swimming pool. In a good location in Siem Reap, with staff who took the trouble to help in any way they could.

Nice central location. toilet is small and gets wet when you shower, i think it can be improved. We stayed 2 days in this hotel and I must say that the staff were great, with the friendliest service around. They love to chat with guests and were always very helpful. Our tuk tuk driver Mr. Kuoy was a great guy who speaks good English. Overall it was a very pleasant experience..

Our stay in Tanei Guesthouse was very pleasant. The staff was helpfull and friendly. Sam the bartender is a funny guy and very serious about his cocktails!
The pool was terrific. Only advice is: please don't allow the childish behaviour of guests to leave their towel on the poolside lounche beds while going away for a few hours!
The rooms are spacious and clean. The shower had good water pressure and had hot water.
Our tuk-tuk driver, arranged by Tanei, was very easy-going and he showed us the best temples of Angkor.
I will certainly recommend Tanei to my friends

My sister and me are very happy to stay at Tanei Guest House that we never stayed before, So Tanei guest house it is very nice and clean Hotel staff were very friendly especially Channa + our Tuk Tuk driver. He gave us a towel of the Angkor wat Temple and pool was great+breakfast too. It was so comfortable here...planned to stay 2nights ended up staying a week, The pool was luxury after a hot day at the temple. the people who run this place are super nice and really helpful. we had a really comfortable stay here. Would definitive come back and recommend to friends who want to visit Siem Reap. Thank you very much I will stay longer next time.
