Value for money
The 2 nights stay at this hotel was great. Beside the value for money, room was clean and staff speoke english and very friendly. Even the tuk tuk drivers spoke english. Paid 2 dollars from the bus station to the hotel and 4 dollars to the trip to the airport.
The hotel which had a swimming pool was 5 minutes walk to the old marker and seam reap night market.
The added bonus for us who are muslims, the mosque and the muslim resturants for halal food was only a walking distance. This was our first trip to this city and definately we will be back and this hotel would be our choice.

Delightful
We stayed in Tanei for our first trip to Siem Reap along with another couple. We noticed immediately how friendly and helpful all the staff were. The guesthouse is a bit shabby and could do with some maintenance work, but it is attractively set out, and has a small swimming pool. The housekeeping is a little haphazard, but ask for something and it is produced immediately. For sheer value value for money and helpfulness of its staff, a bit of shabbiness can easily be overlooked!

very peaceful lovely guesthouse just 5 minutes from the night market, staff are lovely and so polite,good english, can arrange all your tours for you at good prices. cute little pool. very relaxing. Only negative is the noise from some renovations they are doing at the moment.

i did not know what to expect going to Cambodia but Tanei guest house made my entire trip fabulous. Sokun, and his family were just adorable and we still keep in contact, the rooms were big and excellent air con, The bar tender Chill!!! well he even went down the street to get me panadol after a big night out in pub street! xxxx Much love to all who work there for making my trip so pleasant and I highly recommend staying here. Close to everything and a touch of home within the heart of Siem Reap x
My business trip in Siemreap
Value for money if you are looking for budget accommodation. It is close to night market, you can walk within 7 minutes. Hotel atmosphere is cool, staffs are very good.
Great hotel
Really enjoyed staying here and the hotel staff where great. We had one problem with our key not working and after a day of temples we returned to our room with a new door. Close by is pub street night markets and a lovely restaurant with the cheapest beer. Can't wait to come back.
A nice surprice - Tanei is great value
Great value. Simple but big and clean room. Safe and quiet, yet central location. Friendly staff giving good and honest advice. The Tuk-tuk driver they introduced to us was also a nice and friendly guy.
small triple room
We asked for the deluxe triple room and it was written it is a 45m2 room, but the room is in fact very small with no space between beds. They said it was their biggest room (25m2). The breakfast was disastrous : no fruit, no fresh bread/pancake and a single small cup of tea... We changed for another (better) hotel after one night.

Very nice staff, great location, big clean rooms, nice pool, great service!!! Great prices for bookings (tours, tuk-tuk, bus)
Had a good time!
At Tanei we felt in family, far from our family. We had a very good time, they are helpful and give alot of services at the right price! Pool is very good after long visit. Thank you to Tanei family!!
