good value for money
The rooms were spacious,clean and the beds were comfortable. the negative thing was of the 2 rooms we had booked in one room the air conditioner was not working but we managed to stay in the other room without much discomfort. the staff were friendly and helpful and you cant expect more than that for the amount paid.

This is an interesting place. Helpful to the extreme, very good value and a place I would recommend if you don't want a pool.
They readily accepted the booking without a flicker. US$ or local currency was fine.
I had a non-a/c room, but the efficient fan was enough. Older buildings but adequate.
The tuk tuk driver was great: helpful, careful and did his best to please.
The free airport pick-up: a boon! (but not free for the return).
Of course, with this price don't expect the best of quality - but the bed was comfy, with no mossies in the room (or, for me, even in the city!).
I felt quite safe in the Siem Reip city itself, and walked freely and extensively during the day and after hours, with the night market was well worth a visit.
Of course, Angkor Wat cluster of 'ruins' (One-time 7th Wonder of the World) was the main attraction but, be ready for a whole day tour to see it well, and take suitable footwear - there is quite a bit of scrambling over rocky areas.
Although I would recommend this place, I may go more up-market next time. I like A/cond and a pool.

Simple & economical
My stay at Home Sweet Home was enjoyable and comfortable. Mr. Sunday, the hotel's management executive was extremely helpful and kind to help me with transport and tours arrangement and at very reasonable rates. The rooms were clean .and spacious and would be perfect with a little repairs on door latches, cupboard door catch and a new coat of paint.
Staff are all friendly and courteous. For the price I paid, what I got was considered good! Would definitely stay again if I visit Siem Reap.

worth the money but nothing more
For only 8 Euros per night, you couldn't ask for more. The beds were ok, fan worked alright, but the walls were covered in mold and the bathroom and floors were a little filthy. Friendly personell who tried to meet every request. But when we booked a bus ticket to Battambang, there was major confusion about the departure time. We were told the bus would leave at 7:30 (pick up in front of the hostel). Frantic banging on our door at 6:30 the next morning - surprise, surprise: the bus is here already... Oh well, at least they did wake us up in time.

Great value for money
Very nice big room, people helpful in organising tours and bus tickets. Some confusion over the breakfast being included in the price of the room - make sure that this is clear at breakfast time. Also wifi is not available in the rooms, only in the restaurant. Overall a nice place though.
A very god palace to stay at. kind and helpfull. We liked it a lot here!
Dead cheap
We didn't expect much of this hotel paying just £9 for a twin room for 2 nights, but it wasn't half as bad. Yes, it was all rather basic, the TV never worked, and we found out we didn't get warm water for that price (but a cold shower is all you want after a day at Angkor), but the sheets were clean and the fan worked fine.
Value for money
Its a nice place to stay with friends, family and for a long break. Home Sweet Home has all the facilities and its value for money too. I would recommend to friends to stay over there.

Really nice family run guest house. We got free airport pick up by tuk tuk and the manager even greated us at the airport with the driver. Room was really nice and big high ceiling and clean. Free internet above their restaurant (4 computers). Food was reasonably priced and quite nice. They arranged tuk tuk to see the temples for the three days. We ended up staying longer than we had booked. Would recommend for budget travellers.
