I stayed at the City Hotel river for 3 nights.
The service is superb, people are really helpful, friendly and smiley.
The hotel is extremely well located, near the river and very close to the city river.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

The staff here was exceptional. I think they coined the phrase service with a smile here. Great breakfast. Excellent location. All in all, a very pleasant surprise. Highly recomend this place.

We found the hotel to be good value for money and would recommend it to others.
In room internet access is 2 dollars...
In room internet access is 2 dollars per hour and is not available in all rooms. Despite having requested this we had to move rooms and found that the connection was behind the bed. Reception staff did not know how to get their web page up and merely gave us tokens. The manager was unhelpful and did not come back to us as to why our key was not available at reception and we were told that someone had gone to look at our rooms. For the price you pay in this hotel I would rather have paid less our only reason for doing this was to use the internet access which was not available at all. I have stayed in other similar class hotels where internet access is free and easily available.

My wife and I stayed 5 days at City River Hotel in Dec 2005 to Jan 2006. Not luxurios, but kept clean and comfortable enough. Staff is so smiling and helpful. Breakfast at the ground floor restaurant is good at taste, so we enjoyed everyday. The location is very good, you can walk the river side, and walk to the Old Market within 10 minutes or shorter. I recommend the budget tourists to choose this hotel.

The hotel provides exceptional services with very affordable prices. Breakfasts are always free for all guests. Also, great location... it's facing the Siem Reap River and just a few blocks from the Old Market. I higly recommend this place!!!
