Close to beach and activities
Pros: Big room, a/c and fan provided, bar fridge provided (no mini bar), can rent motor bike from hotel but beware of cops who look to fine foreigners without a license, nice pool area, room had a big tinted window with view to pool, owner is friendly and attentive, staff speak English and are friendly (if you can find them), town map and tourist information is provided at reception, good location, it is 5-10 minutes’ walk to the beach/cafes/bars, have wifi but no computer with internet ('internet cafes' are available in nearby convenience stores).
Cons: Smelly room due to the non-flushable toilet (must empty toilet by spraying bowl with a high pressure water hose), metal toilet components and hose were rusty, bathroom feels unclean, no shower screen (toilet is right beside the shower), bathroom floor floods, limited toiletries provided (toothbrush, comb, hand soap - no shampoo/conditioner or body soap), poor water pressure in shower, hot water is warm only, thin and hard foam mattress, bed sheets were too small for the bed and so they did not cover us sufficiently (no doona or comforter was provided - just a top sheet), TV reception faded in and out (we had to re-tune the TV a couple of times), no coffee/tea facilities in room, during the night we were kept awake by karaoke and in the early hours of the morning we were woken by Buddhist chanting.

Pros: Great staff: Very friendly, excellent English....
Pros: Great staff: Very friendly, excellent English. Nice pool and reasonable priced bar menu. Location is 200 metres from busiest point of beach but walk is past mini-mart, laundry, bars and restaurants so ideal really.
Cons: The air conditioning could be better (i'm a bit of a stickler on this issue). The aircon runs in conjunction with a fan though so no problems sleeping.

Great new hotel. Rooms are clean service is great and the pool a little cloudy but refreshing. Bargain for the price and one of the better locations.

Great newley built little hotel in a nice quiet location. Staff are friendly and effecient and the beer cold...what more could you want? Great value for money. Pool was a little cloudy but other than that everything was brilliant. Would stay again when next in Sihanoukville.
What a find! This brand new hotel...
What a find! This brand new hotel in lovely Sihanoukville was just what my husband and I wanted... close to the action, without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Spacious rooms, big bathrooms with instant hot water, sparking swimming pool right outside the door and truly friendly staff and management. Very quiet, peaceful location just a couple minutes walk to the beach. Free wireless in our room and in the poolside restaurant. Can't beat it for the price.
The big selling point of Aqua resort...
The big selling point of Aqua resort is the staff. everyone from the owner to the handyman were fantastic. the outdoor bar near the pool is the gathering spot and the bar staff are outstanding. the food is great and reasonable, the pool nice and it's easy walking distance to the beach. The shower drains give off an unpleasant odour sometimmes but it's Cambodia not Paris so the infastructure is still developing. I booked in for 3 days and extended my stay.
