Hotel Visitel, Montreal  

Good overall value. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Hotel and room was clean. Had limited and small on-site parking. Our room was somewhat small and suppose to have 2 queen beds but had 2 double beds, which when we asked staff were told they were queens. Although some rooms in the hotel are much smaller and have bathrooms outside the actual room. The hotel had been semi-updated, but some of the furniture showed it's age. Hotel was suppose to have plasma tv's, but we had a small older tv. Also had a small mini-fridge, but not many other amenities. Not in the middle of downtown but a great location, steps away from the metro, restaurants and anything else you might need. To those traveling with disability or who are older, the hotel has no elevator and rooms can be up to 4 stories up. Overall, it was a good price and value for a downtown location. Rooms were small but clean and lacked some modern amenities.
