comfortable but cramped
Our room was very comfortanle but very cramped for 2 people. Not even enough room to walk in room without being in each others way. Very clean. Good for 1 person but hard on 2. Extremely friendly staff and excellent hotel location with close access to major attractions, transpoetation and colorful neigorhood restaurants theat feature excellent cuiseen at very low prices. I will stay there again
lots of walking
A value for $ hotel. Not suitable for family and with old folks. Not near train thus got to take public bus to train station. Not easy to get cab and hotel staff would not help you to get. Lots of walking if you don't mind. Overall, so so.
Hotel location not easy accessible to the train, half an hour walk.
but 15mins walk to the forbidden city. however if you know place to go by bus is easy and cheap.

The hotel location is good，It takes me only 4 minutes walk from The Forbidden City. and the hotel staff are friendly，They are very patient to answer your question.I want to recommend this hotel.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment...we enjoyed our short stay in Beijing, Red Wall hotel accommodation was adequate for our needs although there are a few areas that could be improved..... rooms were clean, but lighting was very poor and some mattresses need replacing.....we were less than impressed with restaurant in hotel as it was not clean, food was second rate and crockery also not clean and some items chipped, we ate breakfast in restaurant only one morning because of this...the next morning we tried the Western bar for breakfast, this meal was also second rate and it was cold. Apart from those couple of items I must say the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and hotel is in excellent position to visit many areas of interest. We would recommend this hotel as a short stay hotel. Best regards, Elizabeth Reece
