I like the economy rooms because of the reasonable price. Even though they are basement rooms, there are window high up in the exterior wall so that the economy rooms do have natural light. My room had three separate electrical outlets right near the desk making it easy to use my laptop. Both times I have stayed here, the rooms have been spotless. The hotel's location also provides easy access to both the Forbidden City and Wangfujing -- a brisk walk brings you to a subway station. The main downside is that there are not a lot of nearby places to eat. Also, if you launder your own clothing, there isn't much space in the bathroom to hang up your clothes.
Even it was a budget room, it wasn't mentioned that the room was located underground (i hate it). besides it everything was pretty good. very nice and friendly staff. If i stay again i'd prefer to stay on the 1st floor at least...
When confirming my taxy arrangement for next day airport dropping, I carelessly left my mobile phone at receptionist desk. I just realized it one hour later and rushed back to check with the rreceptionist. Thanks God, it was saved by the security on duty and returned it to me after polite cross check.
Due to my very early check-out the next day, they even offered me b/fast box the night before, which was never done by other star hotels. Breads, Milk sachet, fruit and yogurt in a box was more than enough to feed your hunger in taxi whilst rushing to Airport.
Bravo for Days Inn Forbidden City Beijing. You've done great things for your customers. You win our hearts. Wait for our return back to your great hotel.
Small and tidy hotel located at a hidden place. It's not a good presented hotel, but the location is billion. Its between Fobidden City/Tian'an Men and WangFu Jing (The Shopping Street). Few minutes walk to these 2 places. Never try the food, as I prefer to search better local food in WangFuJing. One little comment, the room is a bit old and not well maintain. In general, acceptable as not there to sleep whole day. :D. Most important, location and money that spend. A very well recommended place to stay if you want to stay in the city centre and next to "Raffle Beijing" .. :D.
great location couple of minutes for shopping streets and tien an men square! the service is really good and the girls try for the best. the rooms are a bit small but nice.
This is a neat tidy hotel, with very helpful English speaking staff. Only 5 mins walk from train stations and few more minutes to Tianamen Square, night food market and large shopping complex ie Oriental Plaza and a bit further to Silk Market. Use of map with Chinese address supplied by Hotel worked very well and all taxi drivers had no problem finding it. Totally recommend this Hotel and will visit again if I get a chance. Thanks for a great stay!

Good hotel,
Great location, within walking distance to square, forbidden city, metro station, shopping mall area, night market etc...
Staff very friendly and helpful (most of them spoke english)
Good buffet breakfast for vegetarians/non vegetarians
Drinks are a bit expensive at the bar (cheaper to go to the restaurant across the road!)
Great stay, would certainly go back there again and recommend it to all.
