We stayed at San Ta Yuan hotel...
We stayed at San Ta Yuan hotel for 2 nights and we were 3 people. The room was big, with 3 big beds, but very humid. The hotel is a little far from Dali, attached at the 3 pagodas and the taxi is very very very cheap. Good english for the staff. Breakfast choice between western and chinese.
