Nice hotel. Good service. Staff mostly speaks good enough English. A bit off from some of the most popular shopping areas but Beijing Road ie. can be quickly reached by taxi. Nice location by the river. Nice view if you book a riverview room.

"I took a short trip to Guangzhou..."
I took a short trip to Guangzhou and stayed at Riverside. Hotel was very good, service was always very polite room spacy and I got a king size bed also! Taxis were always available in the front yard. Very good!

The hotel offered a free shuttle bus service to Guangzhou East Station (train to Hong Kong). The ticket office for the train is just outside the hotel, which is convenient. We took a foot massage

A fine hotel for the money. Nice view of the river. Nice room. The neighborhood is nice, but you have to watch for the beggars along the river.

"Modern and very clean but rather small..."
Modern and very clean but rather small rooms and bathrooms,good Internet access, splendid breakfast buffet. Located at the river shore, very nice location with swimming pool. Direct bus to Hongkong available from the hotel.
