Great value & reasurring local Holiday Inn!
This was my first stay in Guangzhou, and I'm glad I chose this hotel as it was only 5 mins walk from Sun Yat Sen station (Exit D), value for money and all the taxis I got on to knew the location.
Guangzhou is massive and every alley and back street is a location, but may not be familiar by the taxi drivers, so a prominent location was important to me as a non Chinese speaker.
I did lots and lots of research for hotels before booking, and if you wanted cheap in China, I'm sure you can find cheap, but if a few pounds cheaper risks you far from a clean, good location and customer service, it isn't worth it. I have JinJiang was a peace of mind choice guaranteed to be your local Holiday Inn equivalent. I was just scared of booking a hotel that didn't exist as all the hotel names seem to sound the same!! I was relieved when I pulled up at JinJiang.
Great Shower and free wi-fi as advertised.
Definitely recommended if you are not familiar with China.

Jinjiang Inn@ Sun Yat Sen Mem. Hall
Convenient location with the bus-stand and taxi right in front of the Inn. LRT station just minutes of walk away. Convenient to have some simple meals around the area, not to mention a few restaurants within minutes of walk. Hence, the inn only serves two dish for dinner as most ppl will prefer to eat out. There is even a mini mart across the road.
