Good location & value for money
This hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas and eateries. The staff are polite and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. A value for money good place to stay in Haikou.
Hotel is old
Location of the hotel is convenient. but looks nothing like the photo on website. It is an old hotel. Our room was located above the employees quarters as such was rather noisy by their loud conversations, also the banging of the door as they enter/exit. Reception on the second floor added a bit of inconvenience. In the end we stayed only 2 nights.
Good Location
This hotel is situated at a very good location. Room is ok. Standard room has no bathtub.
Free outgoing local calls. Internet provided in the room.
It is next to Ming Zhu Complex and DC Cheng.
Inside the hotel, there is chinese restaurant at level 2or 3 and a nice romantic cafe at top level.
Place and Food looks clean and ok.
Funny thing about this hotel is the reception lobby is at level 2 and not at level 1.
Behind the hotel, there is a pub. Beside the hotel is the KTV BabyFace.
You can take taxi to other Shopping area, disco and massage at about RMB10 (SGD2) or the three wheel trishaw at about RMB5 (SGD1).
This hotel is cheaper to book online or through tour agency as the walk in rate for this hotel is very expensive about RMB6xx.
The room is reasonably clean and the location of the hotel is very good. However, the service of the staff could have been better. We turned up at the hotel with very little RMB left and the bank providing currency exchange was already closed for the day (as it was a Sunday afternoon). The staff could have been more helpful as we had wanted to watch the Impression Hainan show as it was our last night in Haikou.
A Pleasant Stay in Haikou
The hotel is in a centralised area, accessible to many shopping centres.Transport by taxi at a reasonable price from the hotel to the seafood market where a wide variety of seafood is sold and prepared for customers is also available. The staff at the hotel were friendly and the bell boy even helped us to arrange day tours and transport to the airport on our return trip.In the hotel itself, there is a Chinese restaurant and a cafe that serves quite a good range of Chinese and western cuisines at reasonable prices. All these conveniences have made our 5-day stay at Hainan pleasant and memorable.

Requested non smoking but was told the amt paid was for smoking floor ,after talking to them ,they were kind to put us on non smoking floor. The location was ok

Hotel centrally located. Very convenient for shopping and eating. Service was poor. Staff can't coomunicate in English at all and this is very frustrating. Smokers were just simply puffing away anywhere much to the annoyance of everyone except the smokers themselves.

Excellent location to explore the vicinity in the heart of shopping belt and yet with vibrant city life. Abundance of local cusine and fairly cheap oriental food outlets. Must try live seafood market, cheap and good. Cheers!!
