Petit Lijiang Inn (NC)

I had a two night stay at Petit Lijiang Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was in Inn1 (with No 2 close by I believe) with two very large and spacious rooms, a huge bathroom and very large shared kitchen which pretty much had everything you would want. Upstairs was also a shared TV lounge and computer. A washing machine is also on site.
The Inn is situated above the old town and less than a ten minute walk down to the main tourist area. The Inn is very quiet and away from the hustle and noise of the old town centre. It has a secure lovely courtyard to sit and read a book or let the kids play in. It is set amongst the local houses which makes it a bit more relaxed and there is a supermarket just 5 minutes walk down the hill with pretty much anything you could want. The owner sent me an email a couple of days prior to my arrival offering a pick up service which was wonderful. I booked it for the return to the airport.
Wandering around the old town centre there is a number of Inns located in the heart which would be tempting to use. Personally, I would rather stay where I was as the space offered is fantastic, it is very quiet and you don't have to struggle through very busy narrow streets amongst the crowds trying to find where you are staying.
A trip to China must include Lijiang and this is the perfect base from which to explore the area from.
Definitely highly recommended!
