The Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai hosted special guests and sporting personalities participating in the 2008 LI NING CHINA-BWF SUPER SERIES at the Yuanshen Sports Development Center 18-23 November. One of Korea's super pop bands "Super Junior" stayed at the Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai for their roadshow in Shanghai 21-22 November. 2008 China International Mayor Forum on Ecological Construction•The Ecological Construction of City and New Countryside-The Strategy and Implementation of Urban Planning Summit host by China Council for The Promotion of International Trade and Shanghai Pudong People's Government hold in Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai Dec.2nd-3rd,2008. December 12-14, 2008, the Poly Culture and Arts Co., Ltd. and Wenhui Xinmin United Press in charge, the Shanghai Oriental Art Center Management Co., Ltd. host, the drama Design for Living hold its press conference in our hotel. Mr. Lin Hongming, the GM of Shanghai Oriental Art Center Management Co., Ltd., Mr. Lin Yihua the director and actress Sylvia Chang, actor Joseph Zheng attended. At the same time, our hotel was selected as the designated hotel.
