sometimes when booking on the internet you can get nasty surprises... when We walked up to the hotel, I was looking from the outside and saying to myself,, I booked this place?? I had to ask if I could see the room first, before I was going to stay there... the room was really nice inside,, fully renovated and modern.. front desk spoke passable to good english.. short walk to both subway and shopping..
Overall pretty impressed with the hotel as it is strategically located for people who would want to shop both on the high end district as well as the local district. What's more it is just walking distance away from both districts!!! Hotel room was super clean and huge although it is kinda funny that they did not provide free toletries. Nonetheless they stocked up the toiletries at the toilet and you need only pay around US$1 for 2 toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and shower gel all neatly packed in a clear plastic pouch.
The room is clean and with built in deposit locker. Very close to shopping mall and MRT station is walking distance away. There is a 24 hour cakehouse right in front of the hotel where you can have breakfast with reasonal price. Hotel Toiletry is provided once as you checked in the hotel and will not be refilled every day. I was shocked when I was told to return a street map during check out otherwise I have to pay for it.
Everything was great. The position of the hotel is in the middle of the Shenzhen. 5 minutes walking is a big shopping mall with ice stadium inside.
The only one disadvantage is that nobody on the hotel reception spoke English, so we had a problem to get understood.
