We always stay at Century Plaza, this...
We always stay at Century Plaza, this time the beds have improved, not as hard. My only negitive comment this time was the noise from the Disco, although we were several floors above it, the thump thump was soooo annoying. Complained to Management, but it is out of their control, apparently leased to another company and so therefore they have no management say at all. Our complaint was noted and apparently our next stay they are going to include an upgrade and free breakfast, we will wait and see. If you are planning on staying, whilst checking in refer to disco and try to get as high as possible.

The hotel location is right in the middle of the Luohu central. The Bus Station to Hong Kong and from China is around 15 to 20min walk. The central shopping which is the Dong Men is around 20min walk as well.
The hotel cleanliness is average but the downside is the pounding of the hotel bar and disco is audible through the night even when we are in the 10th floor.
There are some good roadside Chinese restaurants near the vicinity of the hotel so food shouldn't be a problem for the tourist. Overall, the hotel is average. I might stay in the same hotel again.

I believe that a Hotel is for sleeping, I have not slept all night. The service is poor, the staff at the reception does not speak English. One positive aspect is near the train station.

We like the Century Plaza hotel mostly for its location and availability of different shops and restuarant and communication availability within Shenzhen.

This was my first visit to China and did not know what to expect. The hotel was fantastic with excelent meals served in the popular restaurants.Very little english was spoken but it was not a problem.

Everytime I stay at Shenzhen I always use Century Plaza hotel. It has a great location and everything that one would need. No one there speaks English except there are a couple of bell boys that have a bit of broken english, but I am in China so I suppose that goes with the territory. This time I travelled back to Hong Kong in a limo (well not really just a people carrier) This service has really picked up, as you do not need to leave the car anymore. You do the passport thing all whilst sitting in the car. You can organise the service for yourself and save but the boys make a bit on the side for themselves if they book for you.

Very good good value for the money. I will certainly stay again in this hotel in my next visit in Shenzhen.
The only drawback was the "not always plesent atitude" of the stuff but it does not bother me too much.

Not a bad hotel,certainly I will stay there again in my next trip. It is very near Luohu Commercial Shopping Centre but need to do some walking (but not with bulky lugguages).
