Particularly like the mini-hotspring tub in every room. 5-star amenities, overall comfortable stay, worth the money we pay. Except for one unpleasant happening .
During the second day of our stay,we were told to proceed to the front desk to top up our deposit before we can proceed to enjoy the facilities of the hotel. Having travelled extensively in the past, we have never come across such treatment from a hotel, let alone a 5-star standard hotel resort like Riyuegu.
Riyuegu definitely lives up to its reputation...
Riyuegu definitely lives up to its reputation as one of the best hotels in Asia. Together with the Riyuegu Hotspring Park, it is a must-see for couples & romantics.
The downside is that it is 40 minutes from Xiamen City. So apart from the Hotspring Park and whatever you can get in the hotel, there is pretty much nothing else you could do, as the immediate surroundings is very industrial. However, there is enough to entertain you for a day or two and there is a decent Italian restaurant that serves wonderful spaghetti dishes. We definitely enjoyed our stay there.
