From the mountains in the north to the tropical climate of the south, Vietnam is a country of natural beauty.

Rice fields stretch for miles alongside beautiful waterways, whilst visitors to the bustling cities of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi will find an exhilarating mix of traditional pagodas and cosmopolitan shopping centres.

Vietnam is a country replete with spectacular and diverse natural beauty, most of which are unexplored and untouched. Officially known as the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, it is bordered by Laos, Cambodia and the People’s Republic of China.

Lofty peaks, dense woods, riverine valleys and massive deltas make up the diverse and striking terrain of Vietnam. From the bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City to the limestone karst mountains of Halong Bay, it has a truly unique culture and terrain.

The culture in Vietnam also has an excellent mix of the old and new. Largely influenced by Chinese and French colonial cultures, the Vietnamese have maintained their uniqueness by combining their ethnic lifestyles with external influences. In the villages surrounding the Mekong delta, life continues as it has been for centuries with proudly-worn traditional costumes, food and lifestyle.

The beauty of the country, the warmth of its people and the richness of its culture all make Vietnam a truly charming place to visit.
