Directions from Split Airport
By Car
Don't forget to drive on the RIGHT and remember to keep your HEADLIGHTS on at all times.
Turn left out of the airport, following the signs to SPLIT.

You will go through several towns called Kastela and after 15km you will reach the highway near Solin.

At the first major junction on the highway (with traffic lights and Roman columns) go straight on, still following the signs to SPLIT.
At the next set of lights (with the Mercator Centre on your left) go straight on, then take the second highway exit signed SPLIT ‘CENTAR’.

Continue on this road for 2.5Km (don’t worry the city gets much, much prettier!) until you pass a multi coloured new development on your right.
At the next set of traffic lights after the development (near the Raiffaisen Bank) turn right, signposted ACI MARINA.

Follow this road past the Hayduk football stadium (on your right) and through the tunnel under the Marjan hill.

At the first set of traffic lights after the tunnel continue straight ahead and at the next junction bear left.

Follow the road along the water’s edge.

You will pass the ACI marina (lot of boats) and you will eventually be able to go no further as you reach the beginning of the Riva, which is a big pedestrianized esplanade lined with palm trees.

Just before the Riva you will see a big church on your left.

Be aware that parking charges may apply.

By airport coach
The white, blue and red Croatia Airlines coach leaves the airport a short while after most international flights arrive.

The fare into Split is 30KN (or €5) for adults and is free for the under 6's.

The coach will drop you at the south end of the Riva.

Walk along the Riva to the big church at the other end, a five minute walk at most.

By Taxi
Tell the driver to drop you off at the St.

Francis Church (In Croatian: Crkva Sveti Frane or Sveti Frane) which is at the north end of the Riva, the promenade which is in the centre of town.

Fares are around 250-300 Kuna.

Directions from Split Ferry/ Train/ Coach Terminals
Walk towards the centre of town until you reach the Riva, a big pedestrianized esplanade lined with palm trees.

How long this will take depends on where your ferry has docked, but should take no more than 5 minutes.

Then, walk along the Riva to the big church at the other end, a five minute walk at most.
