The lobby is small, more a reception area. The hotel is Denmark's oldest hotel in Denmark's oldest town. It is an old red brick building (built in 1582) among other beautifully preserved, ancient buildings. Over the years it has been carefully restored with respect for the old building and its genuine atmosphere.
