an oasis surounded by a dump
I have stayed in over 350 hotels in the last 5 years and this one got me angry. The rooms are nice and the pool is nice . The hotel taxi service is an outright scam so ask every question you can before you use them. Wifi is $20 per day in the room as does not work very well ,it is a vodafone connection with a usb but is so frustratingly erratic that it got me angry. The hotel is large and well maintained but if you walk out the front door there is nothig but garbage for about as far as anyone would want to walk. The food is average at best but if you are only staying for a cople of days it wont matter . Mosquitos were the biggest problem ,they were in the room and could not be stopped ,this is a most unusal thing in a 4 star hotel and I got bitten badly when I slept.
