The hotel was placed in between desert...
The hotel was placed in between desert and a sea, but not on the beach exactly. There is two available beaches to choose from. First according to my friends wasn't nice at all but the second called sharks bay from outside doesn't look very nice too, but every thing changes after you get to the water. Plenty of beautiful fish, corals and different kind of reef life (don't forget equipment for snorkeling!)In the hotel it self is very nice. The staff is very friendly and professional. Get a good relation with them and you will get even better service. Is good to have little tip for a cleaner after he will decorate your bed with flowers etc.The hotel and rooms are cleaned every day. Ask for the rooms in block 5; 6; and not sure about block 4, this ones are very nice with good furniture. The blocks 1; 2; and 3 are the old part of the resort and not that nice. The food was good but not excellent the variety was OK but not pork incl.beacon it is an Arabic country so don't be shocked! The all inclusive alcoholic and soft drinks served until 0.00am are OK whisky, gin, rum are good but don't touch vodka!! Beer is very weak 3% only. There is plenty of swimming pools, trip attraction facilities, souvenir shops,pharmacy, bars, club and restaurants in side of the resort. Overall you get what you pay for. Good value for money. Me and my wife (28 and 26) stayed in there for 12 nights. Hope it will help. Have a great time in Sharm!
