This hotel is great if you want a low key personal experience. The pieces that made this place wonderful for us were the other travelers we got to know, the staff and the time we spent visiting the Fijian village next door. The cabins are spacious and in a variety of places on the property. Ours was up many steps so be careful about specifying the right location for you. The cabins nearer the beach had wonderful seating on their porches. People loved to snuggle up there. We had a beautiful view!
There isn't a good swimming beach, but there is lots of coral reef to explore, although you will have to contend with a strong current. The management needs to work on their attitude. We tried to contact them about transportation to the the facility before we got there, they denied there was any problem getting in touch with them when there was a big problem; one we later found out other guests had too around a variety of issues. The hotel is a long ride from the airport and includes a long dirt road before you get to the property. If it hadn't been for wonderful people at the airport helping us out I don't know if we would have made it there the first night. It was a long expensive taxi ride!
