Summary
Mont Royal Hotel Chantilly was built in 1911. The Mont Royal was constructed between 1907 and 1911 by order of the French composer Fernand Halphen. Built on top of the highest point of the Chantilly forest, the hunting mansion provided exceptional views of the countryside upon which, according to myth, his wife could gaze as she awoke from her slumber. It is an ideal place to relax, be it perhaps in the sauna or jacuzzi, or to partake in outdoor pursuits such as golf, horse-riding, walking and cycling.
The resplendent 18th Century style Mont Royal is a palatial 3 storey chateau, with balconies and terraces which reach out to the tips of the surrounding woodlands.
