This hotel was part of Forte Hotels, together with five star grand deluxe hotels, hotels George V and Place Athenee; the hotel de la Tremoille was the smaller property of the three, somewhat of an exclusive residence for high class guests who desired more privacy... The other two hotels were sold and this property was acquired by a British investment firm that refurbished the house entirely and re-opened it in 2001. The rooms and suites are absolutely wonderful, fitted with the most up to date comfort, elegantly styled in an atmosphere of plush and tranquility with a location that is walking distance, to Champs Elysees, high class restaurants, design shops and much more.
